When using Optimum Control, there are some automated features that help when integrating with your POS system.
To Edit POS Preferences:
- Click "Settings" (upper left corner)
- Choose "Preferences"
- Select "POS"
- Enter the details as below.
- Click "Save"
Field | Details |
Show Pending Sales on Startup Application | Check the box to turn this feature on. This will allow for notifications of any pending sales when logging into Optimum Control. |
Prompt for POS Import After Login |
Check the box to turn this feature on. This will remind you that there are sales files that have not been processed. NOTE: This is for customers importing files from the POS, not those using OC Sales Export. |
Default POS Import Folder | Select the default POS import folder, where Optimum Control will look for the POS import files. |
POS Configuration |
Selecting the configuration for your file import for your POS system. Click "Setup" (located to the right) to configure a new import. NOTE: We recommend contacting Optimum Control support for assistance with Import Configuration. |
Default Desired Percent of Sales | When running the Sales Mix reports, this is the threshold to show warnings for products that are above that percentage (e.g. 30%) and above 1% of sales. |
