How do I set up Purchasing Preferences?
To Edit Purchasing Preferences:
- Click "Settings" (upper left corner)
- Choose "Setup"
- Select "Inventory"
- Enter the details as below.
- Click "Save"
Field | Details |
Display Price Variance Alerts | Alerts you to a price change that is more than the specified Price Variance Threshold. Check the box to turn this feature "ON". |
Price Variance Threshold |
Enter a percentage to trigger a notification for when a price has been entered that is a certain percentage different from the previous one. This can be used to catch a mistake in costing or pricing. NOTE: This feature will trigger in the Invoice Items, and Bid Request windows if the new price is out by more than the set Price Variance Threshold. The notification will alert you of the amount that is different. |
Show Advanced Tax/Adjust Fields in Invoice Window | Optimum Control can calculate tax amounts either included or additional on each Item. Turn this feature on by checking the box and it will show you the breakdown of calculated taxes and adjustments and allow for editing. |
